German Speed Merchants has joined forces with VW racing specialists Bildon Motorsport. The new team is preparing a multi-car effort featuring the new Volkswagen GTI for the 2007 Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series. The goal is to complete three race-ready cars, with one car ready to compete in the first race of the season, the Grand Am Cup 200 at Daytona International Speedway. The ultimate target is winning the ST Class championship and elevating Volkswagen, the team, our sponsors and our technical partner's reputation for road racing excellence.
