Whilst a number of Motor Shows have disappeared in Europe Brussels still stay strong for a number of reasons. Citroën and BMW even had world debuts with the Citroën Cactus and BMW 2 series which got a new facelift. Mini introduced the Mini Hatch and a /3/5 doors version of the Mini Cabrio. New for the European market are the Aston Martin Vantage, the Volvo XC40, BMW X2, Nissan Leaf, Porsche 911 Carrera T and 718 GTS as well as the Mercedes. Even Lightning McQueen found it's way at an official Pixar Presentation for Kids in the Benelux countries. In order to get people back for a second time during the week, a short four day exhibition "We are mobility" takes place at the final four days of the show. Attention will be paid to the current revolutions which are taking place in the automotive world such like e-mobility but also art on wheels like the Michel Vaillant Comics. Last year's edition had been attended by 437.117 people. In contrary to the bike market not many car manufacturers took car racing as a marketing tool at this years edition.
