                              Local winners take the Laurels

The popular ADAC GT Masters meeting visited Zandvoort during the first May-weekend. Both GT3 races were being taken by the Alessi/Kellwitz Corvette Z06 and the DB Motorsport BMW Z4 from Jeroen den Boer and Simon Knap. The last duo inherited the lead short before the end of the race as the leading BMW Alpina B6 GT3 retired with a technical problem.

Three F3 races went to Jimmy Eriksson, Yannick Mettler(CH) and Japanese driver Kimiya Sato. The Motopark Oschersleben Team took two F2 wins during the weekend. One of the ADAC Formula Masters races was won by young Dutch sensation Beitse Visser. The 17-years old lady crashed heavily during qualifying on Saturday and had to stay in hospital for observation during 24 Hrs. She returned to her local track on Sunday beating the opposition.
