In most any sport there are those names that simply stand out from the rest for what they accomplished with the talent and resources they had at their disposal. In what is often termed the golden age of sportscar racing in North America - the period between the late 1950's into the early 1970's - one name that stood taller than most was Texas oilman and Cal Tech engineering graduate Jim Hall.
