The Rolex Vintage Festival Presented by BMW showcases the breadth of sports car racing history in a unique and wide-ranging celebration of the sport and the evolution of the automobile.
The centerpiece of the Rolex Vintage Festival, Sept. 2-5, is incomparable vintage and historic racing machines, spanning the memorable pre-World War II classics, through the popular sports racing and GT cars of the late 1940s and 1950s to the more modern race cars of the 1960s and '70s.
This year, the Rolex Vintage Festival will honor Aston Martin as the featured marque. Automotive icon Carroll Shelby, who won the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans in an Aston Martin DBR1, and David Richards, the chairman of Prodrive, will be honored guests at the Rolex Vintage Festival.
The cars racing at the Vintage Festival represent a Who's Who of manufacturers from Alfa Romeo, Allard, Bentley, BMW, Brabham, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lola, Lotus, Maserati, MG, Porsche, Shelby, Triumph and more.
The festival runs through Monday, Labor Day so there is still time for everyone to come out in the sun to watch yesterday's great cars shine!
