Countdown ADAC GT Masters season started
Earlier this week the countdown for the ADAC GT Masters season started with the final pre-season test at Oschersleben. During both testdays the Montaplast by Land Motorsport Audi’s and the Kfz Teile APR Motorsport R8 LMS from Laurens Vanthoor had been the quickest overall. The brand new Callaway Competition Corvette C7 from Frenchman Jules Gounon had been second on the first day. Callaway enters three Corvettes this season. Boris Saïd and Eric Curran will race one of the cars as well. But as Curran has Tudor Sports Car commitments his place will be taken by youngster Loris Hezemans, the son of Touring Car Legend Toine Hezemans. He wil fill that gap for 3 or 4 races. Through Schubert Motorsport BMW officially enters a Junior car for Jesse Krohn and Louis Deletraz. For the forthcoming race Krohn races with DTM driver Martin Tomczyk. Also quick were the Abt Bentleys and the Porsche from Team Bernhard, which is being owned by WEC Champion Timo Bernhard. The brand new TCR Championship has also been included in the weekend package. In the Formula Abarth F4 Mick Schumacher had been the quickest driver.
