Fifth was the driving duo of Will and Wayne Nonnamaker in the USFilter Planet Earth Motorsports Acura Integra GS-Rs.
The 1999 Compact Champions will be happy to put the Mosport weekend behind them. Team owner Bill Fenton could not make it to the track until race day, and only saw the revised Mosport track in morning warm-up. Therefore the decision was made to start the 1999 Driver's Champion Bob Beede. Before Fenton could get in however the Civic was retired from the race due to contact on the track, which left Beede unhurt but not the car. Bill Fenton Motorsports will be looking forward to the next race at Watkins Glen to display the talents of the team.
The next event for the Motorola Cup is on August 26th at Watkins Glen International in conjunction with the Grand American event.
