The number 63 Moser Racing Acura Integra Type R driven by Robert Moser and Mike van Sicklen won the race after post race technical inspection determined that the winner on the track, the number 24 Power Racing Acura Integra Type R failed to pass the regulations.
No official word is available as to severity or the nature of the infraction that was discovered. Number 24 was disqualified, but it's teammate, the number 12 Acura Integra of Andy Linder and Al Rocca finished second.
The next event for the Motorola Cup is in two weeks at Homestead Miami Speedway in conjunction with Grand-Am.
