| The Banner Racing Pontiac Goes Into the SCCA Wind Tunnel Today |

|
Minnetonka, MN -
Leighton Reese and Banner Racing are
preparing the #66 Pontiac Grand Prix for a new venue on the 2000 Trans-Am
Schedule, the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC
"We are very excited about running this new course on the circuit," says
Reese. "We're looking for it to be somewhat like the Pikes Peak track
because of the similarities: the banked oval and utilization of the road
course. We are going to be a bit cramped for time as we are paying a visit
to the wind tunnel at Lockheed in Marietta, GA on Wednesday prior to the
race. Testing of the aerodynamics is the primary focus at the four hour
session that has been scheduled. It has been mandated by SCCA prior to the
April 1 race at Charlotte. Practice then commences at the Speedway at 9:20
am on Thursday, so we may be a little tired when we get to the track."
"The race at Charlotte is very important to us because of our results in
Sebring." Reese says. "We know we have a car that can win, that was
evident at our last race. We want to go out there and do the best we can and
we are confident that we will end up with a podium finish."
Results of the wind tunnel tests will not be made public.
