What can you say about a race where every racer's lap time was within six seconds, even though the Porsches span three decades? Competitive. While the Cup cars held sway in Race 1, DNFs by fellow speed daemons in Race 2 left the race wide open for 15+-year PCA veteran Claudio Kaempf (GT4S), who relied on skill over horsepower for the overall victory in his 1970 911, a feat the Swiss-born driver repeated in the enduro.

ARCA put together one super-cool race weekend that featured American stock cars, Japanese imports, drifting-and Porsches. Limited track time put the quick starters into the winners' circle. The modern 911s (993, 996) caught one's eye, with David Felker's 1999 996 leading the way in GTB1, and Peter Debusman close behind in a Class-H 993.
