Correction: It was reported in my Touring Car race report that it was Jeff Altenburg who knocked Michael Galati off the track in the lap one turn 8 incident when it was in fact Roberto Santos who had contact with Galati's Mazda.
Missed at Mosport
I missed seeing the Osborns but they had an excuse as Amy Jo gave birth to Zoe Osborn on Tuesday (today as I complete this article) so I guess they have a legit reason for missing this one.
Come on Jim you would rather be with your wife when she delivers your child instead of racing?!?! Man, where are your priorities!
The SCCA's new VW pace cars are cool but not as cool as your red Jetta TDI race car! Somewhere there is a McDonalds with an excess of cooking oil because Jim didn't race at Mosport!
I also missed Delayne Hunt's bright smile and southern charm and drawl this weekend but I suppose she deserves the chance to pursue a career so best of luck Delayne!
Tommy Archer! Tommy is definitely an acquired taste and definitely not your run of the mill racer guy but I like him and it sucked not having that big red Viper out there this weekend.
The sun! OK it was there on occasion but if I wanted that much rain I would have gone to Lime Rock on Memorial Day!
