| Homestead Preview Notes: Kensai Racing with Compass360 |

Although it's been a few months since the team's
#76 Acura TSX took the ST-class win at the season-opening race at
Daytona in January, the team has found themselves busy preparing for
the next event at Homestead this weekend.
Not only has the team been working to prepare their three-car team
for the back-to-back races at Homestead-Miami Speedway and the new
Iowa Speedway, but they've also displayed their cars at venues
including the Canadian International Auto Show. "We've found that a
lot of people are interested in street stock racing," said Kensai's
Alan Shek. "Tuner cars and the KONI Street Tuner class make an
amazing platform to promote Acura and our sponsors."
At Daytona Californian Billy Johnson took the win -- and the ST-class
championship lead -- in the TSX he shares with Karl Thomson, after
running in second place for the last part of the race, nose-to-tail
with the #75 car of Travis Walker and Beau Buisson. Unfortunately,
with a few laps to go a driveshaft let go on the leading car,
precluding a 1-2 Kensai/Compass360 finish. "I know all of us drivers
will be pushing hard because the competition is so tight," noted
Thomson. "We'll be consistent and keep working together to make sure
all three cars finish well, while doing what we can to keep Billy and
me on top of the points standings."
Importantly, the team also announced today that Matt Pritiko's #74
Acura RSX-S will be welcoming two new season-long sponsors at the
Homestead race. Dupont Performance Coatings Canada and NAPA Canada
have signed on with the young London, Ontario-based karting star in
his first year of Grand Am KONI competition. "I can't tell you how
proud I am to welcome Dupont and NAPA to the team," enthused Pritiko.
"They've seen that there is great value in promoting their automotive
brands in the KONI Challenge. In fact, in repairing some of the
Daytona damage to my #74 RSX we've already made use of their paint
products!"
Dupont Canada's involvement with the team builds on Dupont's high-
profile involvement in motorsports, namely their sponsorship of Jeff
Gordon's #24 NASCAR Nextel Cup Chevrolet. NAPA is lead sponsor of
Michael Waltrip's #55 Nextel Toyota. Good company for the Kensai/
Compass360 Acuras, indeed!
