Tommy and Leighton
Tommy Archer and Leighton Reese have raced with and against each other for a long time. In 2006 they shared a Corvette GT car in the Rolex 24 Hour and later in the year in St. Pete they unfortunately shared the same piece of track.
Neither Tommy nor Leighton have had much to smile about after the conclusion of World Challenge races this year, particurlarly Reese as all of Leighton's points this season have come as the result of qualifying, but at Road America they shared the podium which made them both smile for a change!
Of course when Tommy was being summoned to the podium for the presentation of his first place trophy Leighton couldn't resist giving his old ice racing buddy a little bump!
Tommy fell up the stairs and onto the podium platform and everyone had a good laugh proving Lawson Aschenbach's statement to be true that it is better to finish on the podium than in last place!
